PROJECT SUMMARY

We were delighted to be contracted by Kier to install the Structural Framing System (SFS) and insulation at the new Katherine Warington School and Sports Hall in Harpenden.

This project consisted of installing a standard SFS to the external perimeter of the School, cement board and the insulation. In addition to this, the School needed us to build a load bearing SFS inside the sports hall which was already completed in phase one. This was to form temporary classrooms while the main teaching block was built.

Timings were extremely tight and then there was a delay to the programme when the steel frame installer encountered a delay. With an urgent need to make up for lost time, we supplied extra men and had works carried out over weekends and evening. As a result, this project was completed on time.
