PROJECT SUMMARY
Arding and Hobbs is a Grade II listed building in the heart of Clapham Junction. As an iconic landmark within the area, we were delighted to be awarded the internals package to sympathetically restore the existing walls and install new ceilings and drylining from the basement up to the new 5th floor.
We worked closely with our client, Knight Harwood, and the architect to achieve a finish that complimented the new updated building and its historic life.
Our works inside the building comprised of various British Gypsum drywall partitions and wall linings systems to create areas ready for a new CAT B fitout. Along with the MF plasterboard ceilings and stepped bulkheads to the atriums, numerous risers were installed throughout using British Gypsum shaftwall systems to accommodate new and future services. To aid the acoustics and aesthetics, a new Troldtekt woodwool ceiling was installed to the underside of the new mezzanine on the 4th floor. Particular consideration was given to the acclimatisation of the materials to ensure this complied with the manufacturers recommendations.
